December Update

Well, Doug has officially enrolled back into school.  He is going to start with online classes on January 15 2011.  He's not sure what he's going to major in yet though.  He keeps calling me at work and telling me the career paths of different majors like I'm the one who will be making the decision for him lol.  I think we're both torn between what we really want to do with the rest of our lives and what profession makes good money.  There are professions that pay well and then there are ones that you actually enjoy.  I think I'm a little more drawn towards ones that I actually like and Doug is more for ones that pay well.  I know what he would LOVE to do for the rest of his life and it doesn't involve accounting or business or anything like that.  I know that he would love to be on the sidelines of a sporting event.  Whether it be as a coach or providing coverage for sports radio.  That's what I know he would love to do.  If he was on sports radio 1310 the ticket, he would be happy.  Preferrably during the time slot of 10-12pm to replace Norm :).  And for me?  I want to work in retail.  Not as a store manager or anything like that (although for the time being I would take it!).  More like the merchandising and business side of things.  Retail buying and floor set plannning.  One day, I would like to own my own business.

What else do I want out of life?  I want Ryann to go to TCU.  Somehow, our paychecks need to be able to help pay for $40,000 a year worth of education :)

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We took Ryann to the pumpkin patch for her first ever Halloween!  She really wasn't into it that much but the pictures look cute!

In the pumpkin house

Looking for a pumpkin to take home

Isn't this cute?  It's a little pot they can sit in.

The one on the left is my daddy and the one on the right is my big brother :)

It was soooo sunny outside and we forgot her sunglasses so she borrowed mine

This picture is so model-like to me

It's time to carve the pumpkins!!!

Oh yum.  This was Doug's great idea.  I guess he forgot that she loves to eat anything so this didn't last long.

Our pumpkins.  It's ok Rangers, we still love you.  We did before you were anything and we do now that you've become something.

Welcome to my life

What should a first blog post contain?  Is this like an intro into my life?  I was about the just start right in with a normal everyday life post and then I realized that may not be the way of blogs.  So I won't take any chances and I'll just introduce you to my family.

My husband Douglas Scott Eaton

Myself

And a little something I like to call Perfection.  Or just Ryann.

I love her :)
